不定詞と動名詞2 *What would you like doing tomorrow? 【和訳】 あなたは明日何をしたいとお考えですか。 What would you like to do tomorrow? 【要点】 動詞likeの場合と異なり、would like に -ingを続けることはできない。Swan (1980). 【類例】 1) I like walking in the rain. [= I enjoy walking in the rain.] 2) I like to get up early so that I can get plenty of work done before lunch. [= I have chosen to get up early so that I can get plenty of work done before lunch.] 3) I like to get up early so that I can get plenty of work done before lunch. [= I think it right to get up early so that I can get plenty of work done before lunch.] 4) I like to get up early so that I can get plenty of work done before lunch.
