whenと時間表現 *At ten o'clock, John arrived when Harry left. 【和訳】 非文のため意味不明。 At ten o'clock, John arrived. 【要点】 when節は、時点を表す副詞表現と共に使うことはできない。Geis (1970). 【類例】 1) *Since leaving school, I have never met George again. [since = because] / Since leaving school, I have never met George again.
